DIY Jacket Clip
DIY Jacket Clip

I got this DIY gadget idea from Mike Price, MBA, M.Photog Cr. at his headshot photography workshop in Chicago. It's simply two paper clips held together by a hair elastic. Perfect when you are doing headshots and the person's suitjacket is too tight and doesn't quit close.

It has saved the day many times since. It holds the jacket closed and gives a nice slop to the lapels. Obviously it attaches low enough on the jack that it doesn't show up in the final cropping. Thanks Mike, I used it again today and just wanted to publically thank you for the great idea.
