Where can I get professional grad photos in Ottawa?

Spencer Studio offers professional graduation photos in Ottawa for university, college, high school, kindergarten, and homeschool grads. Sessions are available year-round by appointment only.

Do you provide graduation gowns and caps?

Yes. Spencer Studio provides graduation gowns, caps, hoods, and props for many Ottawa schools including some for uOttawa, Carleton University, Algonquin College, and local high schools. Please check our current list before you book.

How much do Ottawa grad photos cost?

Grad photo sessions start at budget-friendly options with upgrades available for prints, retouched images, and digital files. Packages are designed for students, families, and keepsake collections. Check our current Grad Photo Prices & Packages

Do you retouch graduation photos?

Yes. Professional retouching is included on selected images to reduce blemishes, improve skin tone, and keep your photos looking natural — not over-edited.

Can I bring family, friends, or pets?

Yes. Spencer Studio allows optional family photos, best friend poses, casual outfit photos, and even pet photos during many grad sessions.

How long does a grad photo session take?

Most Ottawa grad photo sessions take about 15–30 minutes depending on the package and number of poses selected.

What should I wear for grad photos?

Wear clean, wrinkle-free white collared long sleeved shirt or blouse to were under the gown.clothing and bring anything meaningful to your graduation experience.

Do you photograph university and college graduates?

Yes. Spencer Studio photographs graduates from:

• University of Ottawa

• Carleton University

• Algonquin College
  as well as Ottawa high schools, elementary schools, and homeschool graduates.

Please Note We DO NOT have caps and gowns for Masters or PhD graduates

When should I book my grad appointment?

We only work by appointment only and dates and times are limited. May and June are our busiest grad photo months so you should book early to avoid being disa pointed. Check Availability on our online calendar, it is up to the minite accurate with the available appointments. Find a time and date that works best for you and book yourself in.

Can my friend and I come in at the same time?

Yes of course, Book your appointment, then book your friend's appointment. Email Me and I should be able to manually move the appointments back to back for you.

I'm booking for my son or daughter, Anythink special I need to know?

That's great. Just make sure to book the appointment under thier name. You can use your contact info (email and phone number) just make sure to book under thier name so it doesn't mess up our filing system.

Where is your Ottawa grad photo studio located?

Our photo studio is located in Nepean, West End Ottawa, close to major crossroads like Woodroffe Ave and West Hunt Club — just south of the Woodroffe Campus of Algonquin College. We welcome grads from all Ottawa communities, including Downtown, Kanata, Barrhaven, Orleans, and Manotick.

Free visitor parking and a welcoming studio environment make your graduation portrait experience smooth from start to finish.​
