Grad Session & Proof Set ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Loved the turnout of my pictures! I went for my undergraduate degree pictures and am not disappointed. The photographer was very kind and professional and even sent me home with a « swag bag » of chocolates. The proof set came with all of the shots we took, including the gown, cap, collar, a fake diploma, flowers and two different backdrops. There was lots to choose from. The editing request process was easy and very quick! All and all it was a great experience.

Robin was absolutely hilarious and incredibly flexible for my grad shoot. My partner and I had separate appointments a few hours apart on the same day and he was able to do our shoots one after another, saving us loads of time. The experience was great and so are the photos, I can't recommend Robin enough.

Grad photoshoots ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Upon graduating, I was not offered the option of taking grad photos with school because of COVID restrictions. I took it upon myself to take them with Spencer. He offered amazing service, was very humorous, and made the whole process very natural for me. Strongly recommend his services over traditional photographers because Spencer’s service is more personalized. The quality of the photos far exceeded my expectations and Spencer sent them the next day, which was so timely and convenient.

I had a great time with Spencer at my Graduation photo shoot!! I accidentally came half an hour late to my appointment but he was still very accommodating and understanding. He made me laugh so much and it resulted in some great photos! I would recommend him a million times over. He had a great little room where you were able to do a quick touch up and fix your hair, makeup, etc! Awesome!!

Went to the internet to find a photographer. The Spencer Studio was the first we looked at and after reading the reviews we stopped right there. Set up the appointment, had the shoot and ordered the prints. The whole thing was a very enjoyable experience. Can't think how it could be improved. Shows you what forty years of experience, in-depth knowledge, a very pleasant personality and a professional approach can do.

I had an excellent experience getting grad photos taken at Spencer Studios. They had the full assortment of props and regalia like gown, hood, cap, etc. for my school and faculty (uOttawa science). The shoot itself was very relaxed and comfortable; had some nice laughs and pleasant conversation with Robin before, during, and after. The photos themselves all turned out excellent, and digital copies were sent out within hours. Highly recommended!

While I have a portrait studio of my own in my basement, I needed another photographer to make my portraits, professional head shots specifically. Robin's Spencer Studio had great online reviews, and some very nice samples of his work on his website, so I booked an appointment. Usually I avoid getting my picture taken and was not looking forward to getting my headshots. Robin made the whole experience very pleasant with his good nature and excellent communication skills. Robin did a great job setting up the poses which resulted in many very nice pictures. There were so many good pictures I had a difficult time selecting one for the corporate web site. Robin completed my headshots for work with excellent results. Online booking easy! Pre-shoot conversation by email about specific colours to wear based on my hair colour and profession, which was really helpful. On the day of the shoot I was nervous, as I'm not so comfortable behind the camera, but Robin chatted with me about work, kids, and when I was relaxed enough, he took amazing photos. The re-touching results were awesome and I am 100% pleased with the experience from start to finish.

Not only is Robin an extremely talented and humble photographer, he is also incredibly easy to work with, will take the time to get to know you, and genuinely cares about what you want to achieve in your photos. I received a wide variety of shots with several different poses and props in just a half hour session. There are also some really great deals/packages to choose from when ordering so you end up saving more that way. My final photos turned out beautiful!! Highly recommend!!! :)

I had been holding off for months on a LinkedIn photo and booked this spur of the moment, the same day. As per other reviews, Robin was professional and put me at ease. He was very accommodating with various poses - tie and jacket on, tie off, and jacket off. Lots of photos to choose from. Photos were available for viewing the same day and looked great. Location is easy to find (great directions) and parking at the door. In and out in 1/2 hour. I recommend to scrap the selfie and see Robin!

Robin created the photographs of our wedding 12 years ago. We cherish them for their beauty and creativity. These were taken before digital times, and there were no originals in the archives. One of our framed prints faded - probably in too much sunlight - and Robin obligingly scanned and tinkered with the faded copy, and gave us a digital file, so that we could play with it further and have a new lovely print made of our fave photo. Excellent service as always. I really recommend Robin's work!

Robin did some graduation photos for myself and a group of 5 others. He was exceptionally flexible and accommodating to such a large number of people.
