Spencer Studio an Ottawa Wedding Photographer a proven 30+ year track record of Quality, Artistry and Reliability.

"Top 5 Best Photographers" says Ottawa METRO News

He started his Ottawa wedding photography business in 1980 with a simple philosophy; "Give brides the quality and artistry they want, at a reasonable price."

Well I guess it worked, so far over 700+ brides have found my prices reasonable and booked their weddings with me.

And it honours me that the quality and artistry of my wedding photography has received so many national and international awards.

11 International Awards, 9 National Awards, 3 People Choice Awards

Including Best Wedding Photographer in Barrhaven/South Nepean 2010 &  2011

Some of Robin's wedding photos have been featured on TLC's "Say Yes To The Dress"

and the book "You Can Wear It Again: A Celebration of Bridesmaids' Dresses" by Meg Mateo Ilasco

UPDATE

After 30 years and 700+ weddings, Robin has retired from doing weddings.

We are happy to refer you to Kathy Fleischer a close friend and wedding photographer who's artistry and quality has always impressed me.

Beware The "Fly By Night" Wedding Photographers

The wedding photography industry has always been subject to Fly By Night Photographers, with the digital photography revolution there have been so many more. I often hear stories of people claiming to be professional wedding photographers delivering inferior images or simply taking deposits and then not showing up on your wedding day. So be careful.

The wedding photography business is unregulated, anyone with a camera and a Facebook Page can offer their "professional" services. It's always a good idea to get a referral from a trusted friend or relative.

Here are a couple of red flags to watch for:

  1. They only have a Facebook Page and not a real website.

  2. They don't offer you a real contract

  3. They don't charge taxes or have a Tax Number

Hope this helps.
