Our Ottawa/Nepean Portrait Photo Studio...

We are Ottawa photographers offering Family Portraits, Our studio is located in Ottawa Ontario. We have also been photographing and serving clients in Nepean, Kanata, Orleans, Barrhaven and Manotick since 1980.

 

Please note our small studio can only handle family groups of up to four people. We are happy to photograph larger family groups on location, your home or the park.

We can offer you professional family portraits, formally posed or relaxed casual looking photos, nice natural smiles, slimming poses, advice on the best clothes to wear, and of course a little retouching. We have been photographing families for clients not just in Ottawa Ontario but also Nepean, Kanata, Orleans, Richmond and Manotick since 1980.

You have a choice of a simple family portrait photo session in our Ottawa/Nepean photo studio or a location family photo session anywhere in the Ottawa/Nepean/Kanata/Barrhaven area.  Our Ottawa photo studio is small and can only handle four people maximum. For larger families we offer in-home portraits, local Ottawa area parks, or even your cottage. Cottage family portraits are great and become very popular for family get-togethers. If you have a location in mind great, if not we have a few locations we like that offer like the Experimental Farm Gardens or The Arboretum. 

 

Typically we do the big family group first then some smaller family groupings. One main group up to two smaller groups included, additional groups are at an additional charge, pays for extra time only no images are included.

Large Families and Family Reunions our online ordering system makes it so easy for people to place their own individual orders. That way no one is stuck having to calculate how much each person's order comes to then collect the cash.

​

Studio portraits and in-home portraits are available all year long, however, Ottawa being Ottawa our outdoor location photo sessions at the cottage or in the park are usually just offered spring, summer and fall. Our annual Portraits In The Park fall leaves family portraits sell out every year.

Gift Certificates are Available

If you are looking for a unique gift idea we offer Professional Portrait Gift Certificates. They are available by phone or online. A simple solution for birthdays, anniversaries, retirements and of course Christmas. They also work for B2B corporate gifts or customer appreciation. appreciation.

Retouching is Included Free on all Finished Photos (Not proofs). Typically we include some portrait retouching to whiten teeth, soften lines and wrinkles, remove blemishes or thin down the jawline and reduce a double chin if needed. All of our finished images have been tweaked in Photoshop. Our goal is to make you look great but not overdo the retouching, we want you to look like you are having a great day without looking retouched. But of course, the choice is always yours how far we go so if you have any special concerns just let us know.   

 

By Appointment Only

Yes, we only work by appointment and most clients just use our online calendar. Find a date and time that works for you and book yourself in. Our online calendar never sleeps or gets a day off so it is always available to you. Yes, you can also phone or email for an appointment.

Free Parking and Client Comfort

We have free parking just a couple of feet from our front door. We have a washroom/change room at your disposal. Plus we have a bottle of the coolest, most delicious bottled water available anywhere, just for you. If I forget to offer you one, please remind me.
