Zen and Now

One of Robin's summer projects was to convert his small backyard in to a Zen Garden.  The plan was to make the 12x18' space into a peaceful but interesting garden that would require minimal upkeep.  A contemplative spot to enjoy his morning coffee, and a quiet place for Judy to read. The haunting sound of bamboo wind chimes and a the gurgling pond add another dimension to the garden.  Check out the before and after photos below.

Unusual Garden Features Bubbling Koi Pond Complete with extremely rare "Miniature Koi"  (Ok so they're 31¢ Goldfish)   Exotic Rock Feature Gnarled Dole Stone from  the Ordovician Period  (400 Million Years Old)  Stone Foot Path Totally Fake, concrete made to look like stone    Constructed by "Garden Artist", Grant Laturnus (Robin helped with stone carrying, planting, pond building etc.)   Grant said it was great to work for someone who had the courage  to do something totally different with their backyard.    © 1994-2003 SPENCER STUDIO COPYRIGHT WARNING:  All of these photos are protected.
