As one of their Millennium projects the City of Nepean is giving 100 Nepean Millennium Awards to the 100 citizens who have contributed the most to our community. Most of the award winners were chosen for volunteer work, many of them were involved in numerous activities.  A book of the one hundred winners including biographies and photos is being produced by Nepean and should be released late this summer.

"What an incredible group of people I have had the pleasure of meeting while doing these photos.  I saw no similarities except for their willingness to help others.  Some were high school students, some were well into their 70's.  They were from every race, religion and economic background.  It did my heart good to talk with these people, not only did they have the most interesting lives but they gave me a sense of security about our future, just knowing people like this really exist."....
